Organizers of Ghana Entertainment Awards in the United States of America will be honoring some industrious Ghanaian personalities including Nii Ofori Tackie popularly known as DJ Alordia, Filmmaker Shirley Frimpong Manso, MUSIGA President Bice Osei Kuffuor alias Obour, and others as part of recognizing their contribution to the development and promotion of Ghanaian creativity in the diaspora.
Though most Ghanaians can easily relate to the likes of Obour, Shirley Frimpong Manso and Gyimah, one person who indubitably deserves maximum ovation is DJ Alordia of Alordia Productions, considering his consistency and committed contribution to the Ghanaian entertainment industry both in Ghana and abroad for over a decade now.
DJ Alordia is an event producer, record label boss, music promoter and one of the most sought after DJs who has successfully carved a niche for himself as one of the most hard-working and major players on the entertainment scene today.
In fact, one cannot talk about the growth and history of Ghanaian music in the diaspora without making mention of his name.
In an interview with the media relation of the Ghana Entertainment Awards scheme Felix Akakpo, he told Ghanaian Journalist Attractive Mustapha of Attractivemustapha.com that the event in its third anniversary has tried as much as possible to award the well-deserved personalities in order to keep the credibility of the awards high.
