A Germany-based car rental has traced one of their cars which was allegedly stolen to Ghana.

The car in question, a Lamborghini Huracan Spyder worth $266,325, was spotted in East Legon with a Nigerian registration plate “CHOSEN 1.” Apparently, the sports car was shipped to Nigeria to get it registered and then shipped to Ghana to blur traces.

According to the owner, the suspect was a guest at the Hilton Airport Hotel so he wasn’t worried about his Lambo.

The owner, Torun handed the keys to the suspect and expected it back by Tuesday. That was when he realized what had happened. The last location that was registered was in Jestetten, Germany before the GPS was deactivated.
