The 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) happened over the weekend with various musicians mounting the stage to sell their brand of music and also scoop awards.
But one performance that got patrons talking and craving for more was the display by the evergreen Wulomei band.
The Traditional band mounted the stage and served the audience with soothing music that will leave lasting memories on the minds of music lovers that converged at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday night.
In an era where traditional music seem to have lost its relevance, the good old band credited with the creation of a lot of melodious Ga tunes thrilled the audience with some of their well-known songs.
Gospel musician, Joe Mettle was the biggest winner on the night, making history as the first gospel artiste to have won the topmost award of Artiste of the year. Other award winners include Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Kofi Kinaata among others.
